View a backorder

If there is insufficient inventory, a backorder can be created.

For example: An order is created for 100 items XYZ. 20 items XYZ can be supplied from the warehouse. The other 80 items XYZ must still be created or supplied. A backorder can be created for these 80 items XYZ.

  1. Choose Warehouse Management > Backorders in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Choose the tab Backorder Lines in the Data Pane and view the backorder lines.
