Inspection & Quality Management

The Objective Inspection & Quality Management module offers a lot of possibilities to inspect the quality of receipts, produced items or items in stock by means of inspection instructions (e.g. take sample, perform measurement…) and to record the quality of items. Using the QC status, it can be indicated if an item e.g. has to be inspected or must be rejected. It can be determined via the QC matrix which transitions between QC statuses are allowed by which person and skills.

Inspection instructions are added to an inspection sheet to create a full list of inspections. Inspection sheets can be triggered based on inspection rules. These easily configurable rules determine which inspection sheets will be automatically created in which situations with high flexibility, and it is also possible to set frequencies for triggering inspection sheets and inspection instructions. If required, manual (ad-hoc) inspections can also be added to a lot, LPN (set) or serial number.

Objective offers specific support for inspecting produced goods in a process environment, as well as in a discrete environment. Discrete manufacturing is offered a user-friendly system for referencing items, possibly supplemented with AQL (Acceptable Quality Level), where the approval or rejection of a batch can be based on the quality of a predefined number of samples.
