Backorder statuses

Backorders will be created when allocating an order for which there are shortages.

  • Allocatable backorders are backorders that are awaiting possible crossdocks, or suitable pre-receipts.
  • Allocated backorders are backorders for which already allocated inventory is available.

Successively, backorders can go through the following statuses (if a backorder is deallocated, it will be in the status PLANNED):
