Release a backorder line

Condition: Only backorder lines with the status ALLOCATED or ALLOCATABLE can be released.

If the order is released, the backorder is released automatically.

1. Choose Warehouse Management > Backorders in the Navigation Pane.
2. Select one or more backorders.
3. Choose the tab Backorder Lines.
4. Select one or more backorder lines.
5. Do one of the following:
   • Click Release Backorder Line .
   • Right-click the selection and choose Release Shipment in the shortcut menu.
6. Confirm in the dialog box Release Shipment.
