Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS)

The module Objective Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) enables the possibility to work with ASRS and mobile racks.

An ASRS is a type of warehouse automation technology specifically designed to buffer, store, and retrieve product and inventory on demand. In Objective, 2 ASRS types are available:

LPN ASRS
SKU ASRS

Mobile racks are mounted onto a mobile base allowing them to be shifted. In a mobile rack warehouse typically only 1 aisle is open. The advantage of a mobile rack warehouse is that the quantity of goods to be stored is substantially higher compared to a classical rack warehouse. Objective contains a number of optimizations to limit the number of aisle changes to a minimum.
