Deallocate a backorder

Condition: Only backorders with the status ALLOCATED or ALLOCATABLE can be deallocated.

When a backorder is deallocated, the related tasks will be removed.

If PLE is enabled, the deallocation of the backorders is automatically executed if the due date is adjusted to a date that is outside the allocation horizon. Backorders can also always be deallocated manually.

  1. Choose Warehouse Management > Backorders in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select one or more backorders.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Deallocate Backorder .
    • Right-click the backorder and choose Deallocate Backorder in the shortcut menu.
  4. Confirm in the dialog box Unrelease Backorder.
