Add a sampling inspection instruction

  1. Choose Inspection Management > Inspection Instructions in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click Inspection Instructions or My Inspection Instructions in the Navigation Pane and choose New Inspection Instruction in the shortcut menu.
    • Click New Inspection Instruction in the toolbar.
  3. Choose Sample from the drop-down menu Type.
  4. In the option group General, complete the fields below:

    Name The name of the inspection.
    Description The description of the inspection. For example: Take a beer sample.
    ID Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual ID.
    Category Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual category.
  5. In the option group Sample Options, complete the following fields:

    # Samples Enter how many samples must be taken during this inspection.
    Sample Type Enter the sample type or click Sample Type Selection and select the sample type.
  6. From the option group Print Options, select one of the following options:

    Use pre-printed labels The labels are printed in advance and are immediately available to be stuck to the sample.
    Print labels at sampling

    The label is printed as soon as the sample is taken. The labels of the samples are numbered automatically based on the numbers sequence in System Management.

    In Label Template, enter the label that you want to use or click Select Label Template and select the label template (Mandatory). Only labels for samples can be selected (category Anonymous Sample or Sample Label).

  7. Click Finish.
  8. Where applicable, add free fields. See Edit free fields via icon (Configurator).
  9. Where applicable, add translations. See Add translations via icon (Configurator).
