Add a check inspection instruction

  1. Choose Inspection Management > Inspection Instructions in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click Inspection Instructions or My Inspection Instructions in the Navigation Pane and choose New Inspection Instruction in the shortcut menu.
    • Click New Inspection Instruction in the toolbar.
  3. Choose Check from the drop-down menu Type.
  4. In the option group General, complete the fields below:
    FieldExplanation
    Name The name of the inspection. For example: Check damaged packaging.
    Description The description of the inspection. For example: Are many packages damaged?
    ID Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual ID.
    Category Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual category.
  5. From the option group Input Options, select one of the following options:
    OptionExplanation
    OK - NOT OK The user chooses whether the inspection is OK or NOT OK.
    YES - NO

    The inspection consists of a question for which the answer can be yes or no. The answer can give an OK or NOT OK inspection result.

    For example: Is the shipment refrigerated? (YES = OK), Is the shipment spoiled? (YES = NOT OK).

  6. Click Finish.
  7. Where applicable, add free fields. See Edit free fields via icon (Configurator).
  8. Where applicable, add translations. See Add translations via icon (Configurator).
