Inspection instructions

An inspection task can be created via an inspection instruction to inspect the quality of a receipt or a production, inbound or produced LPNs, LPNs that are in stock or serial numbers.

The following types of inspection instructions are available:

  • Check Instruction: inspection with a simple yes / no or ok / not ok answer. For example: Is the item spoiled?
  • Input Instruction: input of a free value or choice from a pre-defined list. For numeric inputs, control limits determine if the result is within the allowed values. For drop-down lists, every individual value determines if the result is OK / NOK. Entering the text has no influence on the inspection result, but is only for information purposes. For example: Enter the temperature of the refrigerator vehicle.
  • Sampling Instruction: Task to take samples. The samples can be automatically identified via printed labels. For example: Take 5 samples.
  • Measurement Instruction: Task to perform one or several measurements for the purpose of SPC analyses. This measurement can be performed on items or samples. The inspection result can be determined based on the entered limits. For example: Perform 3 measurements of the tube diameter.

You can make the inspection instruction mandatory, mark it as critical, make it executable once or make it executable multiple times.
