Close an order

Depending on its status, the order can or cannot be closed, resulting in the following statuses:
  • An order with the status IDLE, PLANNED or ALLOCATED can be closed, and will turn into the status ABORTED. Possibly reserved inventory is released again, tasks which were possibly created will be deleted, and the order can no longer be used.
  • An order with the status RELEASED, LOADING or PICKING cannot be closed.
  • An order with the status MARSHALED can be closed, and will turn into the status COMPLETE.
  • After the order has been shipped, it will turn into the status COMPLETE automatically.
  1. Choose Outbound Management > Orders in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select one or more orders with the status IDLE, PLANNED, ALLOCATED or MARSHALED.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Close Order in the toolbar.
    • Right-click the selection and choose Close Order in the shortcut menu.
  4. Confirm in the dialog box Close Order.
