Supervision

The module Outbound Management consists of following elements:

  • Customers (1)
  • Carriers (12)
  • Orders (5)
  • Work Groups (6)
  • Consignments (7)
  • Deliveries (10)
  • Shipments (9)
  • Assets (4)
  • Tasks (17)

Each element can consist of one or more sub elements. Depending on the acquired modules (WMS, MES, WFM, CRP), tabs and sub tabs will appear in specific elements.

In the module Outbound Management, we can distinguish 3 large management groups:

  • Order Management (8)
  • Shipping Management (11)
  • Task Management (17)

When managing the orders, the orders can also be managed without grouping them.

In Order Management the orders are created and followed up. The orders (5) can be added to a work group (6), consignment (7), a shipment (9) or a delivery (10).

In Shipping Management, the deliveries (10) and the shipments (9) are created and followed up.

In Task Management you can follow up all the tasks. For an order, pick tasks (13) are created for the items that must be picked. It is possible that a transfer task (14) is required before being able to start the marshaling tasks (15) to bring the items to the marshaling location. Lastly, the load tasks (16) ensure that the items are loaded.

Furthermore, Objective WMS is equipped with a PLE module, which automatically manages the allocation and release of the orders. This ensures that the shipments can be loaded on time, and that full marshaling locations are avoided by early picking.

Pickings (2) and backorders (3) for an outbound order can be managed in this module, as well as in the Warehouse Management module, where all pickings and backorders can be viewed and managed.
