Seal operations

When sealing operations, the planned stop of one operation becomes the planned start of the following operation.

This action cannot be carried out on a work center with a parallel planning mode.

When sealing operations that have a relation between them, the set minimum delay between the operations will be taken into consideration.

  1. Choose Production Management > Planning Cells in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select the planning cell.
  3. Choose the tab Planning.
  4. Select a machine or work center in the column Resource.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Select at least 2 consecutive operations in the sub tab Planning and click Seal .
    • Select at least 2 consecutive operations in the Gantt diagram, right-click the selection and choose Seal in the shortcut menu.
    To seal operations there may be no operations between the selected operations. See Group a selection of operations.
    In the Drag & Drop mode (button Drag & Drop is clicked) and after selecting the operations, you must hold down the SHIFT key to retain the selection after right-clicking!
