Unavailabilities

A machine or work center can temporarily be unavailable because of:

• Buffer capacity, for example in order to execute urgent orders on a Friday.
• Maintenance, unavailability due to maintenance of the machine or work center.
• Test runs, unavailability due to testing of the machine or work center.

Staff can be needed during the unavailability (for example to run tests or carry out maintenance).

Planning the unavailability is only to assist with planning. No orders are generated.
