Production Management Engine

The Objective Production Management Engine enables the possibility to manage the production of items on machines and work centers, according to a certain recipe. Objective offers a full version control for the recipes, both in the field of variants (e.g. alternative input to obtain same output) and versions. The daily schedules/shifts of machines and work centers can be determined via production calendars.

Various check points and aspects can be set in so-called tags (e.g. measurement of pressure, temperature, quantity (counters), time) and any connected alarms. These tags are connected to data-capturing devices (PLCs, sensors,...) that read these tags and forward the information to Objective. The data is kept for the machine's or work center's entire life cycle and can be analyzed by the supervisor. Tags can be related to specific equipment modules (e.g. grinder, heater, robot) to allow an in-depth analysis.

If a production operation results in various produced items, it is possible to work with a phantom item, which is a virtual item that cannot be found in inventory but represents a set or a group of different items.

Employees in the production environment can be identified with their particular privileges, skills and profiles (e.g. to differentiate between a team leader and an operator) and can be given access via rfid badges. Fixed and portable devices to be used at the different work centers can be defined, with extensive functionality to customize the operator screens via resource views.
