Add a SKU ASRS

  1. Choose Warehouse Management > ASRS in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click ASRS or My ASRS in the Navigation Pane and choose New ASRS in the shortcut menu.
    • Click New ASRS in the toolbar of the Data Pane.
  3. In the option group General, complete the fields below:

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    The name of the ASRS.
    Description Enter the description of the ASRS.
    ID Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual ID. This ID will be used in references from NodeRed.
    Type Select the type SKU.
  4. Where applicable, in the option group Replenishment Options, check the following options:

    Grouped Replenishment

    When checked, replenishment of the ASRS can be grouped with replenishment of other ASRSs, pick locations and/or pick zones that also have this option checked.

    Create LPN

    This option enables the possibility to replenish to less than full LPNs. The picking will be executed to a temporary container which will be used for the replenishment. The default container for the item will be used.

    This option can be checked if the Replenishment Quantity (step 6) is set to SKU.
    If this option is checked, it is also possible to check the option Grouped Replenishment.
  5. A single location needs to be selected for the storage of the items. This location can be considered as 1 big ‘black box’.
    Do one of the following in the option group Storage Location:
    • In the field Storage Location, enter the name of the location and press ENTER.
    • Click Select Location , select the location and click Finish.
    • Press ALT + L, select the location and click Finish.
    • The option ‘Keep LPN integrity’ needs to be disabled for this location.
    • The check digit needs to be empty to avoid that operators bring stock directly to this location.
    • This location needs to be added to a work zone specifically for this ASRS.
  6. In the option group Item Settings, complete the fields below:

    Replenishment Trigger Replenishment takes place when the inventory is on or below the set number of SKUs.
    Replenishment Quantity

    Replenishment will take place with the number of units entered. Choose from the drop-down menu whether it concerns SKU or LPN units.
  7. Click Finish.
