SKU ASRS

The SKU ASRS is a GTP (Goods-To Person) system, which can retrieve the necessary stock from storage and deliver it directly to an operator, who operates in a pick/pack station. Once the appropriate amount of product has been picked, the stock is returned to storage and the next item needed for the order is delivered to the worker for picking. SKU ASRS works merely people driven I/O fully automated.

The SKU ASRS is more comparable to pick locations and pick zones, where sufficient inventory to be picked needs to be always available. Therefor ASRS SKU is configured with replenishment configuration levels and replenish behavior to make sure sufficient inventory is available at all times for the picking process.
