ASRS
An ASRS is a type of warehouse automation technology specifically designed to buffer, store, and retrieve product and inventory on demand. In Objective, 2 ASRS types are available:
Objective supports the in and out movements of the inventory and determines to which ASRS inventory will be assigned. Once the inventory is in the ASRS, the control is away from Objective, and the logic of the ASRS system is followed (so called black box implementation). Via interfacing however, Objective always keeps track of which inventory is available all the time. The communication between Objective and ASRS is via MQTT and NodeRed.
