A sample is created using a sampling inspection instruction, but can also be created manually from an inventory.
A sample can only be created for an LPN for which the item is lot and quality controlled. The item does not need to be quality controlled.

Choose Warehouse Management in the Navigation Pane.

Find and select the element (example: a warehouse, location,...).

Choose the tab Stock.

Set the Location Level on BIN.
All locations without sub locations are shown, that is, the locations where there is inventory.

Set the Item Level on LPN.

Right-click the selection and choose .

In the option group Sample Options, complete the following fields:

Enter the sample type or click Sample Type Selection
and select the sample type. |

From the option group Destination Location, select one of the following options:

The sample remains at the current location, that is, the LPN's location. |

Choose this option and enter the location or click Select a Location
. The sample is moved to the entered location. |

Click Finish.
An overview of the created samples is created.

Click OK.
