Work profiles

Lists of tasks to be executed in a specific work zone are prepared in the element Work Profiles.

A work profile consists of one or more tasks of different task types in a logical sequence. This is the same sequence in which the tasks are offered to and executed by the employee with that work profile. The corresponding interleave tasks are also set in the work profile.

After each executed task, the list is reassessed from top to bottom. If, for the first task type, a task is in the queue, it is assigned to and executed by an employee with that specific work profile (1).

If an interleave task was set for the task executed last, it will then be checked if such a task is in the queue and if so, that task will be assigned and executed (2). After that the system will, again, search on the basis of the first task type (3). The system only moves on to the second task type (4) if there are no more tasks in the queue for the first task type. After the second task type has been executed it is again checked if a task of the first type is in the queue (5) and so on and so forth.
