Add a new VAL operation

  1. Choose VAL, Kit & Repack Management > VAL Operations in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Click New VAL Operations in the toolbar of the tab VAL Operations.
  3. In the option group General of the dialog box Wizard New VAL Operation, complete the fields below:
    FieldExplanation

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    The name of the VAL operation.
    Description The description of the VAL operation.
    ID Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual ID.
  4. From the option group Serial Number Control in the drop-down menu Serial Number Identification Required (SNII), select one of the following options:
    • Default, the serial number configuration is followed, see Add a new serial number configuration.
    • Yes, the serial number is registered upon consumption.
    • No, the serial number is not registered upon consumption.
  5. Click Finish.
    The properties of a VAL operation can still be modified afterward via the sub tab Properties.
  6. Where applicable, add free fields. See Edit free fields via icon (Configurator).
