Supervision

Actions can be started from the inventory overview.

Certain administrative corrections can be carried out, based on specific findings. Such as:

  • Edit inventory quantity: When the actual inventory quantity is not the same as the recorded inventory quantity after taking samples for quality control, for example.
  • Remove inventory: When certain inventory is not available or usable anymore (it has expired).
  • Relocate inventory: When inventory is found to be located elsewhere.
  • Modify inventory: item, (sub)lot, production date and Best Before can be modified.
  • Edit inventory attributes: When certain attributes of the inventory have changed, when inventory needs to be reworked, returned or registered as scrap, for example.
  • Adjust QC status: When the quality status of the inventory changes, from 'QC Released' to 'QC Blocked', for example.

An explanation needs to be entered for each of these actions.

Other actions are:

  • Visualization of the LPN content: Which items are on the LPN.
  • Edit LPN content status: From a closed to an open (used) pallet.
  • View/edit LPN dimensions: For correct storage with deviating dimensions, for example.
  • Mark as lost: When an LPN cannot be found, and can be tracked or removed during the next stock check.

Action requests can also be passed on to warehouse operators here:

  • Relocation orders
  • Stock check orders: Location-based or item-based, or both

When inventory actions like relocation and stock check are released, they are displayed in a list of stock checks and relocations, together with their details.

These actions are also listed in the task screen, just like other warehouse tasks.

Operators whose work profiles include stock checks and relocations can have these tasks assigned by the system.
