Adjust dialog settings

  1. Choose System Management > General Settings > Dialog Settings in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Choose Configuration > Dialog Settings in the Data Pane.
  3. The location identification is used if the location is scanned ‘out of the blue’, e.g. for an ad hoc relocation of inventory. In the option group Location Identification, check the following fields as required:
    • Location identification via LPN enabled: It is allowed to identify a location based on the scanning of an LPN which is on this location. This can e.g. be useful if the location label is covered by an LPN. The system knows which LPNs are at which locations, so LPN scanning is in this case equivalent to location scanning.
It can be set with the following options to what extent the barcode needs to be scanned:
    • Checkdigit enabled
    • Checkdigit barcode required
    • Fullname barcode required
    • LPN barcode required
  4. Location verification is used if the operator is sent to a location by the system, to confirm he is at the right location. In the option group Location verification, check the following fields as required to determine to what extent the bar code needs to be scanned:
    • Fullname verification enabled
    • Checkdigit barcode required
    • Fullname barcode required
