Delete a work center

As long as a work center contains operations or online tags, it cannot be removed.

1. Choose Production Management > Resource Types in the Navigation Pane.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Select the (external) work center in the Navigation Pane, choose the tab Work Center or External Work Center and click Delete Work Center or Delete External Work Center .
   • Right-click the (External) work center in the Navigation Pane and choose Delete Work Center or Remove External Work Center in the shortcut menu.
3. Confirm in the dialog box Delete Work Center or Remove External Work Center.

   An external work center is only detached from the resource type, not completely deleted.
