Add a new general crossdock rule

  1. Choose Warehouse Management > Rules > Crossdock > Crossdock in the Navigation pane.
  2. Choose the tab General Cossdock Rule in the Data Pane.
  3. Click Add Rule Block .
    The field Info is completed automatically as the crossdock rule is being set.
  4. In the option group With Inventory Attributes, set the inventory attributes of the item. Individual inventory attributes can be created, see Add inventory attributes, that can be used to create a crossdock rule.
  5. In the option group With ABC Classification, check the ABC classification of the item.

    LPN Stock If necessary, check and select from the drop-down menu the ABC classification for items on a full logistic carrier.
    SKU Stock If necessary, check and select from the drop-down menu the ABC classification for items on a less than full logistic carrier.
  6. In the option group With QC Status, check the option QC Status if an item should have a certain QC status. Select the QC status from the drop-down menu.
  7. In the option group To Location(s) in, select the locations where the items can be crossdocked. Set this option if other crossdock strategies are to be followed depending on the final destination of the stock to be crossdocked.

    Enter the name of the storage zone, warehouse or location here or use the Select Storage Zone/Warehouse/Location button to select the location(s) where the item will be placed after crossdocking.
    Any Warehouse The item may be placed anywhere after crossdocking.
  8. Click Crossdock Scenarios .
  9. Select a crossdock scenario in the dialog box Crossdock Scenarios.
  10. Click OK.
    • The rule block that corresponds the most with the item will be executed first.
    • The sequence of the rule blocks only matters if the rule blocks are of equal value.
    • To change the sequence of the rule blocks: Select the rule block and use the arrows to edit the sequence.
  11. Where applicable, add one or several filters to the crossdock rule.
