Set the space allocation (WMS)

This will set the default options for releasing a receipt in the Supervisor (module Inbound Management required).
  1. Choose System Management > WMS Settings > Putaway Settings in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Choose Configuration > Putaway Settings in the Data Pane.
  3. From the drop-down list Space Allocation, choose one of the following options:
    • Space allocation after task creation, the required space is reserved when creating the task.
    • Space allocation during task execution, the required space is only reserved when executing the task. Reservation of the space at this later moment is a better reflection of the actual situation.
  4. If required, click Allow the user to edit this setting to set if it must or must not be possible for the user (supervisor or operator) to edit the set default value.

    The icon Allow the user to edit this setting is a toggle button. If enabled (preceded by the symbol ), it will NOT be possible for the user to edit the setting. If disabled (preceded by the symbol ), it will be possible for the user to edit the setting.
