Add a template phase parameter

The configuration of the phase parameters requires technical knowledge. Contact Objective for more information and support.
  1. Choose Production Management > Resource Types and select the resource type in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Go to the tab Template Phase Parameters in the Data Pane.
  3. Choose Add Template Phase Parameter .
  4. Make a choice between the following types in the option group Parameter Type:
    • NUMERIC
    • TEXT
    • DATE
  5. In the option group General, complete the fields below:
    FieldExplanation

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    The name of the template phase parameter.
    Description The description of the template phase parameter. Click Edit Translations . If required, enter Key and Description for the different languages. Click OK.
    Category Make a choice in the drop-down menu Category or enter a free choice in the text field.
    Click Next.
  6. If required, enter phase parameter driver properties.
    These are technical settings which are used to process or send the parameter correctly to the device.

    Click Next.

  7. If required, enter phase parameter value properties.
    The value of a phase parameter can be entered by a fixed value or retrieved via a reference. An attribute can be selected for a certain input/output item or every object that can be retrieved runtime.

    Click Next.

  8. If required, enter phase parameter target settings and actions (for numeric parameters).
    If required, enter data collection settings (for text parameters).
  9. Click Finish.
