Batching

When a production order requires a large quantity to be produced, the production can be subdivided in a number of similar production runs. Instead of creating a number of separate production orders and going through all the segments/instructions, it is possible to work with batch orders. These can be considered as sub-PO’s of the main production order.

These sub-PO’s are created on the basis of batch recipes. They are linked to the main recipe. Each batch recipe usually has its own batch size.

New runs can be made on the fly on the Objective Operator Client, where operators can choose one of the possible batch sizes.
