Add a new interrupt reason

  1. Choose Production Management > Interrupt Reasons in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Choose the interrupt reason group in the tab Interrupt Reason Groups.
  3. Choose the sub tab Interrupt Reasons.
  4. Click New Interrupt Reason .
  5. In the option group General of the Wizard New Interrupt Reason, complete the fields below:
    FieldExplanation

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    The name of the interrupt reason.
    Description The description of the interrupt reason.
    ID Field to be completed at your discretion, to assign an individual ID.

    OEE Category

    (module OEE required - mandatory field)

    From the drop-down menu, choose the OEE category to which the interruption belongs.
    Severity Choose from the drop-down menu the severity of the interrupt reason. You can choose from the values 0 (lowest severity) to 9 (highest severity).
    Color Choose the color in the drop-down menu. The color is used to display the interruption in the planning board, the resource view and in the Operator Client.
  6. Click Finish.
    You can copy an interrupt reason and paste it in the same or another interrupt reason group.
    An interrupt reason group SYSTEM is constantly in use. It is recommended to NOT edit this interrupt reason group. Here all interrupt reasons are grouped to assign interrupt reasons automatically.
  7. Where applicable, add free fields. See Edit free fields via tab (Configurator).
  8. Where applicable, add translations. See Add translations via tab.
