Replace a component

If a component is defective, it can be replaced by another component.

  1. Choose Warehouse Management > Serial Numbers in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Look up the serial number.
  3. Choose the vertical tab General > Components.
  4. Select the component.
  5. Click Replace Component .
  6. In the Serial Number field of option group Serial Number Info, provide the serial number of the item or click on Select Serial Number (Alt + S) and select the serial number.
  7. Click Finish.
    The serial number that is replaced is invalidated.
