Remove a component

If a component is unnecessary or irrelevant in a particular assembly, it can be removed from the product passport.

  1. Choose Warehouse Management > Serial Numbers in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Look up the serial number.
  3. Choose the vertical tab General > Components.
  4. Select the component.
  5. Click Remove Component .
  6. Confirm in the dialog box.
    The serial number is invalidated.
