Edit a visitor profile

  1. Choose Access Management > Visitor Profiles in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Select the visitor profile.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Edit Visitor Profile in the toolbar of the Data Pane.
    • Right-click the selection and choose Edit Visitor Profile in the shortcut menu.
  4. Where applicable, in the option group Visitor Profile, edit the following fields:
    FieldExplanation

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    The name of the visitor profile.

    Description The description of the visitor profile.
  5. In the option group Access Type, choose one of the following options:
    OptionExplanation
    Use badge Visitors with this visitor profile will use a badge to get access.
    Use randomly generated PIN code Visitors with this visitor profile will use a PIN code to get access.
    Manual Visitors with this visitor profile get manual access. These visitors will not receive an electronic badge or a PIN code, but are brought to their destination by an employee, for example.
  6. In the option group Access Profile click Access Profile Selection , select an access profile and click Finish.
    NO access profile can be added to the access type Manual.
    To delete an access profile, click Delete Access Profile .
  7. Select an access profile in the dialog box Wizard Access Profile Selection.
  8. Click Finish.
    To delete an access profile, click Delete Access Profile .
  9. In the option group Visitor Login click Access Area Selection , select the access area and click OK.
  10. Where applicable, check the option Automatic Login.
    The visitor with this visitor profile will be logged in automatically in the set access area.
    Automatic login only functions when an access area has been set!
  11. Where applicable, check the option Automatic Print.
    The visitor pass will be printed automatically upon creating a visitor profile for the visitor.
  12. Click Finish.
