Access Readers
Access readers read the employee's badge and depending on the access profile that is assigned to the badge, the employee will be granted access to the area that was added to the access reader.
An access reader can be of the type ENTRANCE or EXIT, and can also function as an attendance reader. An access schedule can also be assigned to an access reader. With this access reader, the area becomes an open zone for everyone but only according to the assigned access schedule.
 | Using the module Access Management, you can also make it mandatory to clock in at limited list of clocks. In that case you must not define the clock in the list of attendance readers, but in the list of access readers! On attendance readers, all clock cards can be used! |
