Indirect Activities

Indirect activities do not relate to a production order (e.g. doctor's visit, team meeting...). These activities do not create any direct added value. The duration of the indirect activities is registered so that the costs of these activities can be included in the total labor costs across individual production orders.

Specific indirect activities are activities not directly connected to the machine or job, but to the operator, and are not general but specific to the machine. For example: A certain machine has an extra air inlet on the left side. The specific indirect activity 'Clean left air inlet' may be added for this machine.

The indirect activities are grouped in indirect activity groups.
