Add a dimension

  1. Choose Item Management in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Right click on Uoms & Dimensions in the Navigation Pane and choose Uom Configuration in the shortcut menu.
  3. Check the dimension you want to add.
  4. Click Next.
    The wizard replaces all the existing dimensions!
  5. Press Next repeatedly until you can choose the system for the new dimension.
  6. One or more of the following systems can appear depending on the chosen dimension, check one or more systems:
    • Imperial (Imperial Standard System): the English system of measurements and weights, for example the yard, pound and gallon.
    • SI (International System of Uoms): the international system of measurements and weights,
    • NONE: the dimension does not belong to any system,
    • TEMPERATURE (CELSIUS): temperature expressed in degrees Celsius ,
    • TEMPERATURE (FAHRENHEIT): temperature in degrees Fahrenheit,
    • TEMPERATURE (KELVIN): temperature expressed in degrees Kelvin ,
    • TEMPERATURE (RANKINE): temperature in degrees Rankine.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Mark the Uoms for the added dimension of the chosen system.
    If you have chosen both systems, you must also mark Uoms for the other system.
  9. Click several times on Next until the wizard has finished.
  10. Click Finish.
    Restart the application after closing the wizard!
