An employee can be removed from a department without being added to a new department.
    
    - 
        Choose  in the Navigation Pane.
      
 - 
          Select an employee.
        
 - 
        Choose vertical tab General > sub tab Departments.
      
 - 
        Click the current department to which the employee is added.
      
 - 
        Click Remove Employee from Department

       - 
        Confirm in the dialog box Remove Employee from Department.
        
The end time is entered in the field Until and the data are shown in gray.
