Add a new printer group

You can divide printers into printer groups. You can create groups by brand (HP, Samsung, etc.) or by possibilities (pallet printers, bottle printers, etc.) or according to your own classification.

  1. Choose Resource Management > Printers in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click Printers in the Navigation Pane and choose New Printer Group from the shortcut menu.
    • Click New Printer Group in the toolbar of the Printer Groups tab.
  3. In New Printer Group Wizard, complete the fields below:

    Name

    (mandatory field)

    Unique identification of the printer group in Objective.
    Description The description of the printer group.
    ID An identification for the printer group.
    Category Choose a category to which the printer group belongs, at your discretion.
  4. Click Finish.
