Add a new general day rule
A general day rule is a rule that applies to the entire day (across all segments).
| It is recommended to create general day rules. | 
For example: Overtime is divided into blocks. Overtime will be paid after the first 2 hours. Process this in the general day rule. If adjustments need to be made, this needs to be done only in the general day rule, for example an adjustment to 3 hours.
- Choose in the Navigation Pane.
 - Choose the tab General Day Rules.
 - 
        Click New Rule
          
 in the toolbar.
       - Select one or more rule blocks from the option group Possible Rule Blocks.
 - 
        Click 
 to move the rule blocks to the option group Selected Rule Blocks.
       - Click Finish.
 - Change the name of the general day rule.
 - 
        Select a rule block and use the arrows 
          
          
          
 to adjust the sequence.
       - Select a rule block and configure the rule block, see Configure a rule block.
 - Add an attendance group, see Add an attendance group to a rule.
 - Add employees, see Add an employee to a rule.
