Invalidate a day

If a day did not go as planned, the supervisor can add an anomaly to the day or the day can be invalidated. This only applies to processed days.

For example, with unplanned absence or unplanned attendance.

  1. Choose Attendance Management in the Navigation Pane.
  2. Choose the element Employees, Employee Groups or Departments in the Navigation Pane.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Select a filter.
    • Select My 'Element'.
    • Select one employee, employee group or department.
  4. Choose one of the following tabs in the Data Pane:
    • Attendance Overview > Overview
    • Attendance Overview > Gantt
  5. Where applicable, you can use a time filter to enter the desired period. See Use a time filter.
  6. Right-click the day you wish to invalidate and choose Invalidate Day in the shortcut menu.
  7. Where applicable, complete Description to clarify the reason for the anomaly.
  8. Do one of the following:
    • In Anomaly Reason, enter the name of the anomaly.
    • Click Filter Anomaly Reasons , select an anomaly and click Finish.
  9. Click Finish.
    The anomaly appears in the Ano column of the relevant day.

    To invalidate multiple days:

    Click Invalidate Days in the toolbar, select the days, click Next and continue the procedure from step 7.
