Configure the rule 'Create Balance'

With this rule you can assign a new value to a balance. This rule is often used for period closures of the type 'YEAR' to set the new value of the holiday counters.

Example 1: At the end of the month every employee will receive a day of compensatory rest that has to be taken within a month.

Example 2: Every year the balance for PH (Paid Holidays) will be set back to 20 days. If necessary, this balance can be set to expire after 1 year.

  • If a balance rule without attendance group or employee is created, this rule will be used as a catch-all for all employees to whom none of the defined balance rules apply.
  • Ensure that a balance rule not to be executed randomly, is generated by at least 1 employee.
