Balance Counters

Balance counters are counters that can be deduced from the day counters, but whose values are accumulated over a period (for example: A month), or multiple periods. The balance counters allow users to view counters bound to minimum/maximum values. For example: Balance counter for statutory leave. Balance counters can also be used to view the content of the exception day counter (for example, flexible hours). Objective can be configured to display an anomaly reason if a set minimum/maximum value is about to be exceeded. The value of a balance counter can be transferred (optional) to a next period by closing of a period (monthly, yearly,...).

A balance counter consists of a balance code and a value.
